Nuventix Gains $8M

Austin-based Nuventix, a developer of cooling technology for high-efficiency lighting, announced today that it has raised $8M in a new funding round. According to the firm, the funding included $3M in funding from Braemer Energy Ventures and $1M from Uniquest of Korea, plus $4M in a line of credit from Silicon Valley Bank. The new funding brings the company's Series C round to $18M. Nuventix is developing cooling technology use for solid state, LED lighting. According to Nuventix, the new funding will go towards accelerated development of its products and for new support resources. More information »
