The Planet Highlights Results, Claims Record Quarter

Privately held The Planet, the Houston-based IT hosting provider, said it had "record" EBITDA and free cash flow for the quarter. The firm--which did not release actual financials--said it saw strong, year-over-year, double-digit revenue growth despite the economy. The firm said it added more than 1,300 new customers in the first quarter, and now has approximately 20,000 customers, who collectively host more than 16.9 million web sites.
