SmarteSoft Hires Sales VP

Austin-based SmarteSoft, a publisher of test automation applications for software developers, reported Tuesday that it has hired Gary Bowers as vice president of sales. The firm described Bowers as a test hardware and software industry veteran with more than 30 years of executive management, sales, sales management and marketing experience. SmarteSoft said it hopes the addition of Bowers will help the company maintain its streak of consecutive quarters of revenue growth. SmarteSoft is angel backed by the Central Texas Angel Network.
