ACS to Buy U.K.-based Anix for $50M

Affiliated Computer Services announced Monday that it has agreed to acquire Anix, a U.K.-based IT services and infrastructure solutions provider currently owned by Xploite PLC. Dallas-based ACS said it will pay some $50 million in cash for Anix upon closing, which is expected to occur before the end of June. Derrell James, executive vice president and group president of ACS IT Outsourcing Solutions, said the deal would help the business process outsourcing firm provide its international clients with information technology services and solutions. Anix has operations throughout England in Bristol, London and Manchester and data centers in London and Manchester.
