Savara Pharmaceuticals Gains Funding

Austin-based Savara Pharmaceuticals, which is developing drug inhalation delivery technology, said this week that it has raised a Series A funding round. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. The funding round came from biotechnology industry veterans and other unnamed, business leaders. According to Savara, it will use the new funding to continue development of its technology. The firm said it has the option to complete a second tranche of funding in the Series A later this year if needed. More information »
