Austin Ventures Invests In Directory Site

Austin-based venture capital firm Austin Ventures is the lead firm in an investment in a local business directory site, MojoPages. According to MojoPages, which is based in California, Austin Ventures led a $5M Series A funding round for the firm. MojoPages offers local business listings, ratings, reviews, and social networking features to newspaper, TV, and other media web sites. Mike Dodd, a venture partner at Austin Ventures, sits on the firm's board. MojoPages said the funding will go to expand its offerings. More information »
