Pervasive Software Buys South Carolina Firm

Austin-based Pervasive Software, which develops software used for data management and integration, said Tuesday afternoon that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Greenville, South Carolina-based ChanneLinx. Pervasive said it would buy the assets of ChanneLinx for $2.6M in cash. ChanneLinx is a developer of web data interchange technology, and according to Pervasive had approximately $2.0M in revenues over the twelve months ended June 30, 2009. Pervasive will also hire 16 software professionals as part of the buy.
