Rackspace Sees Double Digit Growth

San Antonio-based Rackspace Hosting, a provider of web hosting and colocation services, reported Monday that it had double digit, year-over-year growth in its revenues. The firm said it had revenues of $152.0M for its second quarter, which ended June 30th, up 16.2 percent year-over-year and up 4.8% from last quarter. The firm had net income of $7.0M for the second quarter. Rackspace said it now has 70,803 customers, up from 52,078 customers from the first quarter of the year. The company reports that it now has 2,648 employees, down from 2,661 employees as of March 31st.
