Piryx Launches Online Payments Site

Austin-based Piryx, one of the Texas firms heading today to DEMOfall in San Diego, said today that it has launched a social commerce site designed to handle payment processing for small businesses, non-profits, and political campaigns. According to Piryx, its service provides branded online payment pages for its customers, and includes marketing components and social commerce tools which integrate with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other services. Among the firm's customers are the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, a non-profit focused on breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Among other features of the site are tracking of payments and donations, and cataloging helpful information about customers and donors.
