Dallas-based ACS reports this morning that it has scored a contract in Kentucky. According to ACS, the three year, $4.5M contract covers a system for managing electronic medical data exchange between hospitals in the state. The Kentucky Health Information Exchange (KHIE) is expected to help physicians in the state, and improve the quality of healthcare, by providing a more complete picture of a patient's medical history.
