Spiceworks Rolls Beta Update

Austin-based Spiceworks, a developer of free IT management software, has released a new, beta version of its software this week. According to Spiceworks, the new version 4.5 software adds such features as support for larger, complex networks; a help desk application; plugins to manage PC power consumption; and new local language support. Spiceworks is venture backed by Austin Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
