GENBAND Names Kupp CFO

Plano-based GENBAND, a developer of infrastructure for the telecom market, said today that it has named Jeffrey Kupp, most recently the CFO of Microtune, as its own Chief Financial Officer. According to the firm, Kupp will report to CEO Charlie Vogt. Kupp was CFO of Microtune for the last four years, and has also served at Inet Technologies, IEX Corporation, CS Wireless Sytems, DSC Communications Corporation, and Ernst & Young. Kupp replace Jan Gaulding, who has transitioned to Chief Administrative Officer.
