Rackspace Links With FathomDB

San Antonio-based Rackspace, a provider of web hosting services, said Thursday that the firm's cloud computing division has tied together with startup FathomDB, a provider of software-as-a-service databases. According to Rackspace, FathomDB now supports RackSpace's cloud service, in addition to FathomDB's support for Amazon EC2 and S3. FathomDB's service allows developers to deploy MySQL based databases on cloud computing systems. FathomDB was incubated by Y Combinator.
