BMC Signs Chinese Bank

Houston-based BMC Software reported late Tuesday that the firm has been selected by The Bank of Communications (BoCom), which it says is one of the top five largest commercial banks in China. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. BMC said that BoCom is using the firm's BMC Remedy IT Service Management software. BNC Remedy is used for IT service management, including issue management, change management, and more. BMC's software is being used in BoCom's Shanghai data center.
