Intralink-Spine Gets $750K SBIR Grant
Georgetown, Texas-based Intralink-Spine, a medical device firm focused on treating degenerative disc disease and low back pain, said Monday that it has received a $750,000, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grant. The firm, which is backed by angel investors, said the award came from the National Institutes of Health, for pre-clinical studies of its technology. Intralink-Spine's technology focused on injectable tissue to reinforce the spinal disc. Intralink-Spine is also backed by Orthopetics LP and Ampac Biotechnology, Inc.
