Virtual Bridges Taps Rackspace For Hosted Offering
Austin-based Virtual Bridges, a venture backed developer of desktop virtualization software, is announcing today that it has rolled out a hosted version of its software using Rackspace's cloud computing services. Virtual Bridges said its VERDE Hosted product will offer hosted desktop virtualization solution for desktop users. Virtual Bridges is venture backed by Austin Ventures, having snagged $4.0M in January in a venture round. Virtual Bridges said its hosted desktop virtualization software will be offered in either six month or 1 year contracts, dependent on the number of seats included in a subscription.
