Amphora Expands In India

Houston-based Amphora, a developer of energy trading and risk management software for the oil and gas industry, said yesterday that it has opened up a new office in Hyderabad, India. The firm said the new office, which replaces an existing office in the Indian city, came as a result of outgrowing the capacity of its last office. the firm said it nearly doubled its India-based headcount last year. Amphora did not say how many people are employed in the location. Amphora said its Indian offices are the central design, development, and testing arm of the firm.
