Savara Gets $1.9M

Austin-based Savara, a developer of inhalation-based drug delivery technology, said last week that it has received $1.(m in a commercialization award from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. The firm said the funding will be used to advance development of its lead project toward Investigational New Drug (IND) approval. Savara is looking to apply its technology treating treating asthma, lung cancer, and other lung based diseases. More information »
