Neverfail Powers Telecom Software
Austin-based Neverfail, a developer of continuous availability and disaster recovery software, said today that it is powering a new offering from unified communications firm Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST). According to Neverfail, AVST is using its software to link up a trio of servers to provide multiple levels of redundancy in case of system failures. AVST had already been offering high availability via an OEM agreement with Neverfail. The firms said that the three server configuration protects against multiple failure points, such as both an application failure and power outage. Neverfail's software is used to provide seamless failover between systems and applications on different machines, in the case of a disaster or system failure.
