Workstreamer Gets $3.5M

Austin-based Workstreamer, which operates an online service to track news, blogs, social networking sites, and other information sources for information about customers, cometitors, and others, said today that it has raised $3.5M in a Series A round. The round was led by Austin Ventures. Workstreamer was co-founded by Hank Weghorst and Suaad Sait. The firm said its will use the funding to accelerate user growth, for sales, and to meet demand for its services. Workstreamer--which was formerly known as Workthink--is the firm which acquired Austin-based Ruby-on-Rails developer FiveRuns last September. Weghorst was the founder and CEO of Troux Technologies.
