Bazaarvoice Adds Feld, Strauss As Advisors

Austin-based Bazaarvoice, which provides software-as-a-service for ecommerce ratings and reviews, said this morning that it has added Alan Feld and Ted Strauss to its board of advisors. Feld is one of the senior executive partners at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, and Strauss was most recently Chairman of the advisory baord of Texas State Bank, and also served on the boards of BBVA Compass Bank, Bears Stearns & Co., Clear Channel, and Clear Channel Communications, among other firms. Bazaarvoice described Feld and Staruss as "icons" in the Texas business community and said they will provide strategic guidance to the company.
