AirStrip Releases On Android
San Antonio-based AirStrip Technologies, which develops applications for remote access to electronic health records, said today that the firm has debuted its product in the Android Market. The firm said its AirStrip OB works on the Samsung Epic 4G, HTC Incredible, Samsung Fascinate, HTC Droid Eris, The Motorola Droi, Droid 2, and Droid X, and also the HTC EVO. The new software provides remote access to fetal heartbeat and maternal contraction patterns to physicians. Airstrip is venture backed by Sequoia Capital. The firm's app was previously available on the Apple iPhone.
