Rackspace Rolls Two New Cloud Services

San Antonio-based Rackspace Hosting has rolled out two new cloud computing products, the firm said this morning. According to Rackspace, the new offerings include Cloud Connect, an offering which combines the Rackspace Cloud with dedicated hosting, and Critical Sites, a advanced monitoring service. The firm said both offerings are aimed at the enterprise market. Cloud Connect uses cloud-based hosting to provide dedicated managed hosting services. Critical Sites offers up "mission critical" support and monitoring for web site clients. Pricing on the new offerings was not announced.
