Eclipse Electronic Systems Acquired In $120M Deal

Richardson, Texas-based Eclipse Electronic Systems, a manufacturer of signals intelligence and communications intelligence (SIGINT/COMINT) receiver hardware to the airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) market, has been acquired. According to acquiring firm Esterline Corporation, it will pay approximately $120M for Eclipse Electronic Systems. Eclipse was founded and is headed by Jeff Sanders, who will continue to serve as CEO of Eclipse.
