GENBAND Buys Cedar Point Communications

Frisco-based GENBAND, the developer of IP telecommunications equipment, said today that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire Cedar Point Communications, a provider of IP switching products for the cable provider market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. GENBAND said that the acquisition will increase its cable market share and enhance its offerings for that market. Cedar Point is based in Derry, NH.
