NeverFail Extends Partner Program To OEMs

Austin-based Neverfail, which develops high availability software, said Tuesday that it has launched a new, OEM partner program. According to the firm, it is aiming the program at medium to large independent software vendors (ISVs) with Windows-based solutions built on SQL, MySQL and SharePoint, to help them to integrate and rebrand Neverfail's technology within their software. The firm said it has added Sean Mctaggart as Director of OEM Channels to head up the effort. McTaggard was most recently at Vizioncore/Quest. Neverfail provides its HA capabilities to such firms as VMware, SolarWinds, and AVST. The firm's high availability software is used to ensure that applications keep on running, even if servers in a cluster run into hardware or software issues--something particularly important to enterprise customers.
