Dell Services Wins FBI

Round Rock-based Dell said Thursday that its Perot Systems Government Services (PSGS) unit, part of Dell Services, has gained an opportunity to win major dollars from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Dell said it is one of 46 prime service and solutions providers for an IT supply and support contract with the FBI, allowing it to compete for up to $30 billion in IT supply and support services at the FBI over the next eight years. The firm did not say what portion of that contract it expects to be able to compete for.
