Solera Holdings Buys Software Firm
Dallas-based Solera Holdings, which develops software and services for the automobile insurance claims industry, said earlier this week that it has acquired New Era Software LLC, a developer of body shop management systems. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Solera said the move would expand its product offering. New Era's software is used by companies for collision repair services, including scheduling and workflow management, and tracking of vehicle repair status for customers.
