GENBAND Inks Two Business Deals

Frisco-based telecom gear developer GENBAND has inked two deals today, saying that it has linked its products with the MobileMax Unified Communications Suite, and also linked with another firm on European IPv6 support. MobileMax is a provider of unified communications products, with the integration offering up instant messaging and SMS text support, among other features. Separately, GENBAND said it has linked with Interoute, which operates a voice and data network in Europe, to provide IPv6 support for that company. Financial details of the two deals were not announced.
