Spanning Cloud Apps Raises $2.0M

Austin-based Spanning Cloud Apps, a developer of Google Apps applications for synchronizing Apple iCal with Google Apps, has raised $2.0M in a funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm this week. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Spanning Cloud Apps is headed by Charlie Wood, who has previously also served at NewsGator Technologies, Stellent, and Vignette, among other firms.
