Bazaarvoice Launches New Social Tools, Analytics, API

Austin-based Bazaarvoice, the provider of ratings and review software for ecommerce sites, said Tuesday that it has launched a number of new offerings for its customers. The firm said that it has added a new analytics application called Bazaarvoice Customer Intelligence, new social media tools under the SocialConnect Suite, and a new developer program to allow customers to interact with application programming interfaces (APIs). The analytics tools provide real time information based on customer interest at the SKU-level; the social media tools help connect customers with a brand's Facebook page; and the new developer program, Bazaarvoice Platform, allows developers to build new applications around Bazaarvoice data.
