SocialWare Signs Financial Services Customers

Austin-based Socialware, the developer of social networking software for enterprise customers, said today that it has added a number of financial services firms as clients. The company, which is headed by Chad Bockius,, said that it has added American Portfolios Financial Services, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. and Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, as customers. Financial impact of the wins were not disclosed. The new customers follow a recent venture funding round for the company from FLOODGATE, G-51 Capital and Silverton Partners.
