Digby Powers Cabela's Mobile Apps

Austin-based Digby is powering new mobile applications for outdoors retailer Cabela's, which run on both iPhone and Android. According to Cabela's it has launched its iPhone and Android apps, which will allow consumers to make in-store purchase decisions, allowing them to scan barcodes or QR codes to get more information on products and offers. Cabela's also said it will begin shipping its print catalogs with QR codes, allowing users to scan and buy items directly from their smartphones. Digby has been powering Cabela's mobile website since earlier this year.
