Infochimps Buys Keepstream

Austin-based Infochimps said Wednesday that it has acquired Keepstream, the Austin-based social media analytics firm founded by Huston Hoburg, Jim England, and Tim Gasper. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Infochimps, it will "slowly close down" Keepstream, with new user registration turned off and existing users no longer able to create and edit collections as of September 30th. The firm also said it will be looking to help export the data in the service to another curation service.
