Encryptics Names CEO

Dallas-based Encryptics, a developer of encrypted email technology, said Friday that it has named Dennis J. Cagan as its CEO. Cagan was most recently CEO of TWL Corporatoin in Dallas, an also has served at David Jamison Carlyle Corp, which he took public in the 80's. Encryptics said that Cagan has served as a consultant, venture capitalist, private investor, and professional board member on 46 corporate boards. Cagan is also known for his work in establishing the Santa Barbara Technology Group, a business incubator and investment firm located in Santa Barbara, California, where he is still involved.
