CyrusOne Plans Giant Data Center In Arizona
Houston-based data center operator CyrusOne reported today that it is planning to build what it says will be the largest data center in the Phoenix market, and has purchase 40 acres of land to build a 1-million square foot data center. CyrusOne said the new center, which will start construction in 2012, will be in Chandler, Arizona, within a new master-planned science and technology business park. CyrusOne did not disclose terms of the purchase. The company said it tapped the services of Capital Commercial Investments Inc. and CB Richard Ellis in the purchase.
