CyrusOne Appoints CTO

Houston-based data center operator CyrusOne announced Monday that it has named Kevin Timmons as its new Chief Technology Officer. Timmons joins the company from Microsoft, where he was General Manager, Data Center Services. He also served as VP of Operations at Yahoo! and the Director of Operations at GeoCities. CyrusOne is a subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell.
