Trion World Seeking IPO, Says Report

Trion World Network, a San Francisco-based publisher of online video games which has operations in Austin, is reportedly planning an IPO, according to reports over the weekend. The revelation came via an interview with CEO Lars Butler, who did not give a timeframe for any IPO move. Trion World Network expanded into Austin in February of 2009. The firm is venture backed by Act II Capital, Time Warner, Peacock Equity, Rustic Canyon, DCM and Trinity Ventures.
