Spiceworks Expands Efforts In The UK

Austin-based Spiceworks reported Thursday that the firm is expanding its efforts in the UK, and has established Spiceworks Europe Limited in the country. The developer of IT management software said that it will have six, full-time staff in the UK by the beginning of next year. The move is part of an expansion the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region by the company. Spiceworks said its online traffic in the UK is currently expanding by 70 percent, year-over-year, and the European staff will help it take advantage of opportunities in the region. Spiceworks software provides free network mangaement, network monitoring, and help desk for IT professionals; the firm also includes a major social component to its software.
