Spacetime MMOs Rack Up Play Sessions

How popular are the mobile games coming out of Austin-based Spacetime Studios? Based on numbers released by Spacetime on Thursday, very popular, with over 100 million play sessions between Pocket Legends and Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles. According to Spacetime, it finds that the average Spacetime player is spending 25.2 hours per month playing its Legends titles, well above the average of 14.7 hours per month playing games for iPhone users and 9.3 hours per month played by Android users reported by Nielsen. Spacetime launched its Pocket Legends titles in 2010, and launched Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles last year. The firm is planning its third MMO, Dark Legends, in the first quarter of this year. Spacetime Studios' founders are Cinco Barnes, Gary Gattis, Jake Rodgers and Anthony L. Sommers.
