Texas Instruments has engaged an advisor to sell two of its fabs in Japan and the United States. According to semiconductor advisory firm ATREG, Texas Instruments has engaged the company to help find buyers for its 150mm fab and advanced 300mm assembly, test, and packaging operation in Hiji, Japan, and Houston, Texas.
