TabbedOut Adds PayPal Payments

Austin-based TabbedOut, the mobile bar tab application developer headed by Paul Fiore, said this week that it has added PayPal as a payment option within the mobile app. TabbedOut's app allows users to keep a bar or restaurant tab on their smartphone, and previously only supported settling out those tabs with a credit card. Tabbedout said the PayPal support will initially only be supported at selected Tabbedout locations in Austin this month. Fiore, whose prior experience was at prepaid debit card provider Green Dot, took over in January from founder Rick Orr, who remains with the company.
