CopperEgg Updates Cloud Monitoring Service

Austin-based CopperEgg, the cloud IT monitoring software developer headed by Kip McClanahan, said today that it has released a new version of its RevealCloud real-time, cloud monitoring service. The firm said that RevealCloud v3 adds such features including support for thousands of simultaneous nodes and an updated user interface. CopperEgg's service gives IT managers a unified view of servers and their status, including those running both within an enterprise and within the private or public cloud. The company's software works with Amazon EC2, Rackspace, Windows Azure, SoftLayer. CopperEgg is venture backed by Silverton Partners.
