Malauzai Finds $2.3M For Mobile Banking Apps

Austin-based Malauzai Software, which develops mobile banking apps for community financial institutions, said this morning that it has raised $2.3M in a fundraising effort. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. According to the company, the new funds will go to expand its footprint in the mobile banking industry, plus for strategic partnerships. Malauzai develops iPhone, Android, and other mobile apps for credit unions and local banks. The firm's founders are Tom Shen, Danny Piangerelli, and Robb Gaynor. Shen has served at Software Dynamics, S1, and Digital Insight; Piangerelli at Dell, S1, and Software Dynamics; and Gaynor at Union Bank, Digital Insight, along with other firms. More information »
