LaserGen Sets CEO
Houston-based startup biotechnology firm LaserGen, which is developing technology for the DNA sequencing market, said today that it has named Mimi Healy as Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Healy also joins the company's board. Healy was previously CEO of Bacterial Barcodes. LaserGen has backing from Texas Emerging Technology Fund (TETF) and angel investors, and also has been supported by small business and research grants from the National Human Genome Research Institute.
