Cloudability Gets $8.7M

Cloudability, one of the companies out of San Antonio-based, TechStars Cloud program, has raised funding, one of the first venture fundings out of the program. Cloudability, which develops cloud spend monitoring software, said it raised $8.7M in a funding today, led by Foundry Ventures. TechStars' Jason Mendelson has joined the firm's board with the funding, has has Jason Seats, who manages the TechStars Cloud program in San Antonio. TechStars launched its San Antonio cloud-focused, startup acceleration program in January. Cloudability is now based in Portland, Oregon. More information »
