Four Texas Firms Make EETimes Startup List

Four Texas startups have made a list of the top startups to watch by industry publication EETimes. The industry publication, which tracks the semiconductor and electronics industry, identified a total of sixty startups worth watching by industry insiders, including four in Texas: Ambiq Micro, Calxeda, Javelin Semiconductor, and Nitero. Ambiq develops low power, wireless ARM processors; Calxeda develops ARM-based server chips for the data center; Javelin Semiconductor develops mixed signal CMOS ICS for wireless applications; and Nitero is developing 802.11ad Wi-Fi chipsets.
