MeetMeTix Gets Series A For Ticketing Service
MeetMeTix, a new Austin startup helping to connect people with sports, concert, and other tickets in a peer-to-peer marketplace, has raised an initial tranche of its Series A financing round, the firm said Thursday. The company said the funding to date is under $500,000, and will go towards a national roll out of its product. The funding came from local angel investors, including former Peachtree Software CEO, local angel, and startup advisor Ben Dyer and Texas Entrepreneur Networks, the angel group led by Hall Martin. MeetMeTix is currently focused on major sports venues. MeetMeTix said the round remains open and that it's also working with possible strategic partners.
