Key Ingredient Debuts iOS App, Service

Austin-based Key Ingredient has released a new version of its iOS application, and launched a service to help users find and share recipes today. The company's iOS appliction and web site lets users search through 1.5 million user-generated recipes, allowing users to either share their own recipes, store their recipes privately, or search and find different recipes by ingredient. The company said it is backed by Groupe SEB, a developer of small household equipment, and is integrated with its own hardware--the Key Ingredient Recipe Reader, a kitchen-safe kitchen appliance which it is selling to users.
