Gearbox Picks Up Homeworld From THQ
Plano-based videogame developer Gearbox Software, the videogame publisher behind Half-Life, has picked up a new game title from bankrupt videogame maker THQ. According to THQ, Gearbox won its title Homeworld in a bankruptcy auction Monday, with Gearbox paying $1.35M for the title. Gearbox is the publisher of such titles as Borderlands, Duke Nukem Forever, Counter-Strike, and many others.
